Summer Camp Themes for 2026

As the days keep ticking by, we are getting closer and closer to summer, and I couldn't be more excited! Ever since I was a camper, I dreamt of taking on the role of program coordinator, and this year, those dreams are finally realized. In preparation for the summer, we have begun by planning out a theme for every week, and I have the honour of sharing them with you today.

K2: Kintail Kingdom

Kicking off our summer with K2, Camp Kintail will be feeling very medieval. Bring your most regal garb, as campers will have a hand in deciding the next ruler of Kintail Kingdom!

K3: Birds In The Garden

For K3, I hope you have a green thumb, because 3 pesky birds will be trying to steal all of the seeds from the Camp Kintail Garden.

K4: Uncle Freddy VS Aunt Hoover

K4 will be the first time Uncle Freddie and Aunt Hoover finally meet face-to-face! I am so excited to see kids running around as either lobsters or chickens to show support for their favourite campfire character.

K5: Wild Wild Kintail

During K5, gold has been found at Camp Kintail! Dress like you're from the Old West while prospectors come from all around the country in search of the precious yellow rock.

K6: A Weekend in Hollywood

Family Camp is always a blast, and this year it's going to be hollywood themed! I can't wait to see everyone looking their best for the red carpet, as well as dressed as their favourite movie characters.

K7: Land Ho, Kintail Ahead!

Pirates have landed at Camp Kintail, and everyone coming for K7 will get to meet them! It will be so great to have the kids running around like pirates and scallywags all week long.

K8: The Kintail Job

TOP SECRET: I have heard that someone is planning a huge heist for K8. If the rumours are true, I'm sure that the camp-wide games that week will definitely be part of it!

As you can see, we have so many exciting plans for this summer. I am super eager to share the Camp Kintail magic with all the campers as kids arrive!
