Phase 1: Space to Work Update

Camp Kintail is in the middle of an exciting 4-phase project Space to Grow Part 2! Designed to make camp more sustainable, accessible, and welcoming for the thousands of campers, guests, and staff who call this place home. Over the next two years, you’ll see new spaces created, old spaces refreshed, and important infrastructure improvements that will allow Kintail to thrive for the next 100 years.

The first step in this journey is now well underway: the construction of our brand-new maintenance shed in the South Field! While the name “shed” might be a little modest, this building will become a vital hub for camp operations and so much more. Once complete, the new shed will include:

• A meeting room for staff, guests, and campers on rainy days

• Bathrooms to serve this part of camp and the maintenance staff

• A welcoming covered porch with familiar red rocking chairs

• Dedicated space for year-round maintenance projects

We’re especially excited to share this new building with you in a special way. Our hope is that by November, the maintenance shed will be ready to welcome friends of Kintail for tours and appetizers as part of An Especially Special Night, on November 29th!
