Offering 24 acres of field, forest and lake, the Camp Kintail site is readily available for school trips during the spring and fall for any school activity that you have. Featuring a heated Lodge, heated washroom facilities, 10+ cabins, and a variety of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, Camp Kintail is just what you’re looking for, whether it is for a Year End Trip, Student Council Retreat, Environmental Education Experience, or Sports Team Teambuilding.
Activities at Camp Kintail
Boasting a three-sided rock climbing tower, a 13 element high ropes course including a four sided adventure tower, a flying squirrel, adjustable aerial leap, rappelling tower and a zip line along with a wide variety of low-rope activities, including the Cable Traverse, Spider’s Web, Tire Traverse, and Wizards Walk Camp Kintail is the perfect place to work on team building skills such as cooperation, communication and problem solving, as well as personal achievement.
In addition, the site also offers a basketball court, land and beach volleyball courts, a soccer field and a 18- hole disc golf course. We are located on the sandy shores of Lake Huron, with opportunities for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Overnight or Day Trips
Camp Kintail welcomes both day and overnight groups. Working with you to customize your schedule, Camp Kintail Staff Members are available to lead as much programming as you choose. Whether they’re with your group for 1 hour during the day, or from breakfast to bedtime, it is entirely up to you. Program areas that you can choose from are Rock Climbing, High Ropes, Zip Line, Geo-caching, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Music and Drama, Low Ropes, Nature, Swimming, Canoeing, Kayaking, and Camp Crafts.
Sleeping approximately 200 individuals, Camp Kintail can also cater up to this many for an additional cost. Following Canada’s Food Guide, a selection of meal options are available to choose from, allowing you to customize for your group.
