Hello!
My name is Zabrini and I am a third year counselor at Camp Kintail this summer. Coming back to counsel again this summer has given me a lot of perspective and helped me to figure out what is really important to me. Last Christmas I had decided not to come back to Camp because I needed to pay for my University education. I was hired to work at a car factory in Listowel and was set to start working a week after my exams were finished. However, the earthquake in Japan happened and all summer staff from the factory, including me, were let go. Though the earthquake was a terrible event that affected many people, I am thankful because it gave me an opportunity to come back to camp for another summer. I know that this was all part of God’s plan for me, and I feel very accomplished and at peace because I know that Camp Kintail is where I am meant to be.
