Hey it’s Marlin here. This year I had the pleasure of being one of the Waterfront/Watercraft directors along side Dorsal. Along with enjoying Lake Huron every day by swimming and boating with campers we also took on the responsibility of keeping all campers who came down to the beach safe. When I was a camper the waterfront was what made camp special to means I wanted to be able to create that same magic for all the campers. In order to do all that Dorsal and I braved the cold water at Grandbend in June to become waterfront lifeguards. The course was physically demanding but also very informative. And now that the summer is over we can officially say it was another safe and fun summer at the beach.
