The Synod of Southwestern Ontario will be meeting on October 26th and 27th at Stamford Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls. Roger Nishioka will be the guest speaker. Roger is an Associate Professor of Christian Education at Columbia Theological Seminary. His area of research is on what attracts young people to church and he is passionate about equpping leaders of the church for their role in Christian Education. He will be speaking on Tuesday evening and again on Wednesday morning. Roger is a dynamic speaker and an inspirational leader. We are fortunate to have him speaking at our Synod.
Of course, the Synod meeting will also have reports from the wide variety of ministry carried out within our Synod including Camp Kintail, PYPS, WMS, Huron Feathers, mission grants, and rural ministry. Plan on attending and enjoying the fellowship of Synod.
