This is only my 5th year hear at camp Kintail, in total. Not five years on staff, five years since I first stepped foot on the property. The past half-decade has played host to a monumental shift in my overall being, as I grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. I don’t really exercise any three of those traits throughout the school year, with a particularly abundant apathy towards the physical aspect. Camp is the only place where I can truly work on all three. The job I hold pushes me in all directions, to exert myself in any way that I can, which has helped me grow monumentally.
