Staff Training and Commissioning

By July 7, 2010Staff

Last week all 65 of our Camp Kintail staff members gathered together for a week of fun and learning during our staff training week.  The week consisted of sessions to learn essential skills for the summer, games to bond as a group, and bible study and worship to grow as christians!  The week was amazing!  One highlight of the week included going into Goderich to do a scavenger hunt and see the Canada Day fireworks!

At the end of the week we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at camp for our 2010 Staff Commissioning!  We welcomed an incredible number of people to the site to swim, play games, climb the rock wall, and tour the site.  We all gathered in the new chapel to worship and commission the staff as well as dedicate the chapel itself.  After the amazing worship, we moved to the rock wall to dedicated it and we dedicated several trees in the celebration tree garden!  And we finished the day off with delicious barbeque!

Thank you to everyone who could make it, we had a wonderful day celebrating with you and we hope you had a great day too!
