K8 in 2013 was a new camp we tried out called Discovery Camp. Campers got to choose a major session to attend once a day for an hour. The options were photography, culinary, waterfront, and rocks and ropes. We may be a little biased, but we think that the rocks and ropes group had the most fun. Campers learned how to harness themselves and got some small lessons in knots and the physics of high ropes or rock wall. As well as climbing the wall and high ropes and doing the low ropes elements which are always fun! In total we had 43 campers in our group. It was a big number, but everyone got to climb the rock wall, do at least one high ropes element, complete a low ropes element and zip the zip line! It was a very busy and incredibly fun week!
