Remember When…

By January 24, 2011Uncategorized

Every Monday we will be posting a picture from the Kintail archives!  If you know who is in the picture or where it was taken, please let us know in the comments.  If you have story about the picture we would love to read about it.

If you have a photo you would like to contribute, just email ([email protected]).

  • Marian Raynard says:

This is Carol (Morden) Chechalk, who worked at Kintail in the early ’80s Carol and her family were living in the Guelph/Puslinch township area and I think that she came from near Rodney Ontario.

  • Donald Scott says:

Lovely to see Carol again! When my wife and I were at Kintail in 1981, she was very kind to us, and took us home to meet her folks at the pig farm in Rodney…well remembered Marian! We got Ontario Pork T-shirts with “Try a little tenderness” as the slogan!
The photo may have been taken by Bob Faris, as I remember seeing it before.

  • Indeed this is Carol! This would be from the summer of 1981 or 82. In 1982 Carol was the very first LIT Leader (although then we called it CIT). I was in Carol’s group of CITs int he summer of 1982. She taught us well! This photo is familiar to me too, perhaps it was used in some of the Kintail promo stuff in the early 80s.
