Reflection by Hazel

Hello All, Hazel here!

So I was in Harmony House at the end of the summer, washing paintbrushes in the sink when I looked up and saw a sign from Sr. Co Ed 2004. Of course the first thing that I did was scan the whole thing for my name! I remember exactly when I signed it, where I was in that moment- the Sr. Co Ed Dance.  It has almost been 10 years since I was a Sr. Co Ed camper and I remember like it was yesterday. After our seniors left this summer I realized how unique of a camp Sr. Co Ed actually is. The friends I made those 10 days at camp are friendships I will carry on for a lifetime.  We were campers, LITS and staff together and we still look back on those good ol’ Sr. Co days.  One of my favourite memories was the infamous dance. The soccer nets are always lit up with twinkly lights and the kitchen crew always provides a delicious snack!. It is something that sticks with me in my mind as one of my favourite parts of being a camper. As a staff member I am not embarrassed to say that it is STILL one of the things I look forward to!  Loud music, under the stars, dancing with your best friends sounds fantastic at any age!
