Nearly anyone who has visited camp can think of a specific place that spoke to their hearts. Whether it was somewhere they conquered a new challenge, a place where they sang out with great joy, or found stillness and solace in quiet reflection. Here are some of our 2019 staff’s favourite places here at Kintail.
“My favourite place at Kintail is the guard chair. Getting to sit and watch over the kids and enjoy the sunshine and waves is an amazing feeling.” – Valance
“My favourite place is the beach deck when it’s sunny. I feel so relaxed.” – Rhubarb
“My favourite spot is the beach. The waves cancel out all the noise and let’s you think.” – West
“I like to sit with the bunnies because you get to play with the animals and be quiet for a bit.” – Cassiopeia
“I love the creek. Sometimes I walk down there by myself and reflect on life and listen to the water.” – Caldera

“My favourite spot at camp is at the chapel. Especially in the afternoon when the sun is shining through the trees.” -Reverb
“I like the beach deck- it’s a great place to sit at night and watch the stars. You get a great view and often get to see a lot of shooting stars.” – Savannah
