Every Wednesday during July and August three Kintail staff have the pleasure of running Kintail on the Road at Knox Presbyterian Church in Bayfield. This past week Orbit, Peridot and I had a fun-filled day with eleven of their vacation bible school kids.
We began the day with chapel and singing as everyone arrived. During art and crafts we made dream catchers out of yarn, pipe cleaners, feathers and beads! FLASH involved a nature hike through the park where we named all the things in God’s creation that we are thankful for. We then had an awesome nature session with Orbit where we learned about water filtration and conservation. After a delicious lunch of pizza and ice cream we played parachute games in the park. To end the day we ran around in the splash pad and sang some campfire songs before saying goodbye.
