Dear friends,
Failte! A couple of years ago one of the international staff from Scotland taught me the word “Welcome” in Scottish Gaelic (Gaidhlig). Since that time I began learning Gaidhlig from Duolingo and am now taking an online course through Colaisde na Gaidhlig in Cape Breton. I am very much a beginner, but I am enjoying a glimpse into the language that my forebearers spoke as their mother tongue.
