ABOUT PROGRAM CONNECTION
Program Connection is a meeting of faith- based programmatic minds; a space where those who love camp and conference program can discuss theory and practice. We come together searching for new ideas, seeking answers to questions, and sharing our favorite resources. It is built upon the idea that we build each other up and improve our ministries through the sharing of ideas, insight experience, and networking. We spend time in discussion, spiritual retreat, and workshops with experts in the field and leave refreshed, with lots of new ideas and resources.
Participants have opportunities to share topics which most interest them, and use our common experience to work toward best practices in those areas. Topics often include staff training, spiritual development (for campers and staff), new program ideas, ecumenical partnerships, and our role in a constantly shifting world. One of the other great benefits is to share resources.
Please plan to bring brochures, flyers, manuals, and other resources to share (paper or digital).
WHO IS THIS CONFERENCE FOR?
Any summer camp professional can gain from the relationships and experiences offered at Program Connection! Build relationships with other people in your field and learn from each other in a friendly, curious environment while seeing how other camps operate. Go home refreshed and full of new ideas.
FREE DAY
We look forward to hosting Program Connection and participants will have a wonderful experience at Kintail and in Ontario. Options for free day include a visit to a local indoor climbing gym, local microbreweries, local shopping, and some winter activities. We will collaborate to ensure everyone enjoys their time in Canada!

Kintail is delighted to offer a presentation with Travis Alison from GoCamp Pro! Travis’ creative and conscientious persona has made him a keynote speaker at conferences across the US and Canada. This is a unique opportunity to get one to one advice for your camp. Meet Travis and consider the future of camping and outdoor ministry!
Worship and other workshops will be facilitated throughout the week.
COST & ACCOMMODATIONS
Participants will be housed in the Nest and MacDonald Lodge in single or double occupancy rooms. Meals will be provided from dinner on Sunday through breakfast on Friday, with the exception of “Free Day” where you may choose to dine off-site for some meals.
- Single Occupancy Housing & Meals $540 USD (cash) / $700 CAD
- Double Occupancy Housing & Meals $370 USD (cash) / $475 CAD
- Airport Shuttle $50 (cash) USD
ARRIVAL & AIRPORT SHUTTLE
Shuttle service will be offered from Toronto Pearson International Airport at the cost of $50USD/ round trip. Those flying please plan to arrive before 3:00pm on January 15th.
Please schedule departing flights after 11:00am on January 20th.
Folks driving to Kintail please arrive any time after 3PM on January 15th. Dinner served at 6:00PM. Please depart Friday after breakfast.

1. Register online
Click here to access our Campbrain software and register online. If you have any questions you can contact our administrator at [email protected] or call 519-529-7317. Completing your registration will result in a confirmation package being emailed to you with more details regarding your booking as well as a follow-up email the week before the conference.
2. Select your payment method
At the end of your registration process you will be asked to choose a payment method. Payments made via credit card will automatically process in Canadian dollars and may not be the exact rate listed in print and online, as exchange rates are automatically applied via the payment software. You have three choices for payment method
- Set up an online payment via credit card within Campbrain
- Select “Pay by cash or check” and bring cash on arrival
- Select “Pay by cash or check” and send an EFT to [email protected] with the password set to kintail in all lowercase *Canadian banking only please
3. Fill out your forms
The forms in Campbrain will be where you indicate anyone you wish to share your accommodations with, any dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan), and any travel needs. You can include any other information you think will help us ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
4. Mark your calendar
Import this event into your Google Calendar by clicking the button below and check your spam for your confirmation email. Mark the email as “safe” to ensure you don’t miss any correspondence moving forward and follow us on social media to stay in the loop on all things Kintail!
5. Pack your bags
A full packing list can be found in your confirmation package and will be sent to you again closer to the retreat date. Camp will provide your bedding, pillow, and towels. Check the weather for “Goderich Ontario” to get an idea of the temperatures for the week and dress in layers. All guests will be staying in climate controlled buildings and meeting spaces will be warm and comfortable. Some activities and the walking tour will be outdoors.
6. Enjoy the Conference!
