We are excited to share the Kintail schedule for 2022! Explore the website and find out more about which overnight camp, day camp, or week/ weekend away sessions would be most of interest for you and your family! Mark your calendars, book your spot, and spend the rest of the year counting down the days till your next visit. Details regarding our COVID protocols will be available closer to camp start dates and families will receive emails/ packages closer to their scheduled camp session.

COVID-19 and Vaccination Policy

Though vaccination is strongly encouraged, campers do not need to be vaccinated to attend overnight or day camps for the summer of 2022.  

“We understand that for some, these policies will be too strict, and that for others, they will be too lenient.  If your family is not comfortable with these policies, you can email Theresa ([email protected]) to change your registration.  If you have any additional concerns or questions, please reach out to Theresa for a conversation. “

Discovery Camp

What to expect at Discovery Camp!

Campers get to sample Camp Kintail activities while spending a week in our cabins. During this session campers will try activities like archery, canoeing, swimming, sports, team games, outdoor living skills, and high challenge course, in addition to learning more about faith and God through our FLASH program. Furthermore, Discovery campers will learn what it means to live in community with others within their living groups during cabin time, meals, and camp-wide games.

Introduce your camper to the joys of community living in the outdoors, while being immersed in a welcoming environment.

What to expect at Outdoor Adventure Camp!

Located on the Kintail site, campers will stay either in yurts or in cabins. Those small group units will prepare one third of their meals over the fire and have another one third sent to their ODA site from the kitchen.  The remaining meals will take place in the MacDonald Lodge Dining Hall.   Each group is able to do plenty of activities in the woods, along with all the familiar camp highlights like archery, waterfront, and high challenge course.  These camps are perfect for campers who love spending time in the woods.

What to expect at Volunteers of Kintail!

Work toward your academic volunteer service hours at Kintail.  These volunteer camps offer participants the chance to receive community service hours, help Camp Kintail, and participate in camp activities. All campers will have a chance to enjoy the beach, archery, high challenge, and more while also helping with dishes and a site project!

What to expect at Pre LIT!

(Ages 14-16)

Pre-LITs will gain valuable skills relating to leadership at home, school, and in the community as well as ORCKA certification in flat-water canoeing. They will also learn about teamwork through games, initiatives, and activities. FLASH is a time of exploration of leaders from the Bible.This is sure to be an epic week of fun, friendship, and fostering new confidence and skills.
