Last Tuesday, Kintail was blessed with an abundance of beautiful butterflies congregating in our cedar trees. It was an amazing sight to behold and a reminder of the wonders of God’s creation. For me, it was a fitting end to our summer here at Kintail because of the symbolism they represent. Butterflies start of as caterpillars, not much to look at but brimming with possibilities. After some time in a cocoon they burst forth in beautiful colours and flutter away. In many ways, camp unlocks the best in all of us, both campers and staff, and allows us to be transformed by the caring Christian community here and God’s unending love. Thank you God for the caterpillar, the butterfly and the gift of Camp Kintail.
