Recently, the back of McKay hall hasn’t been home to much. Just some spiders and the odd raccoon. But at the beginning of K8, all of that was about to change.
The last time there was a porch behind McKay hall was about 25 years ago, and this year we decided to bring it back. Extending from the old McKay porch, this one wraps around behind, giving us a full wrap around deck. The roof that’s going to cover the entire porch makes this area an ideal location for outdoor arts and crafts, even when it’s raining.
We try and utilize the outdoors as much as possible at Camp Kintail, and the Bluevale porch helps us do that, no matter the weather.
