Babysitting by Hazel

This past spring I had the privilege of babysitting three of THE funniest, THE cutest little gals ever- Ella, Lucy and Anna. We went on crazy adventures, had picnics around camp, watched The Little Rascals, and even pretended to be them. The one thing that sticks out in my mind that we’ve tried to do every year as a group of girl program staff- is our annual sleepover. We prepped by making a guest list, invitations, and a list of things to bring. We picked out the movie we were going to watch (The Little Rascals, of course) and which pajamas we were going to wear. We bought treats and goodies for our guests and laid out a nice spread! It was a nice bonding moment for the girls as well as the female program staff. The girls have such creative and vivid imaginations, and are able to come up with pretty much any game and any activity. I simply just enjoy their company and play along. Not only are they the little girls that I babysit, they’re also my friends. I can’t wait to see them grow up and blossom into the young beautiful ladies I know they’ll become!
