Hello everyone!
I’ve grown a great deal since I was an eight year old day camper, waiting to see the red church so I would know that the bus was almost at the lane. The most important thing that Kintail did to help me grow was provide me a space to grow. There are parts of my growth that did not depend on camp; I grew up, gained experience, and developed my faith. Camp provided me a safe space, where I felt confidence in trying new things and pushing my boundaries at Kintail when I was too afraid to anywhere else. For me at least, that’s how camp has helped me grow – by giving me the space to learn for myself.
